General dentistry is the broad category of dental care that is reflective of what one might call a neighborhood dentist.

Treatment begins with an annual dental checkup, basic cleaning of teeth, restoring those teeth with decay or failing restorations, and all general services not requiring specialized care.

A restorative dentist is a general dentist taking overall treatment to the highest level of comprehensive care.

At RIDLI we believe all patients are entitled at least to the diagnostic level of comprehensive care. It is our obligation to provide the patient with the options of elective care at all levels. Our primary focus at RIDLI is to help patients with severe dental and maxillofacial issues through Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry. However, we welcome the opportunity to provide care for all patients requesting general dental checkups, routine cleaning of teeth, filing of decayed teeth, root canal therapy, extractions, dentures etc. We absolutely want to be the primary care provider for all of our patients, their friends and families.
